The most important retail industry representatives gathered in September on Paris Retail Week fair. Among more than 48,000 participants and thousands of companies taking part in the event, there was also Ergo Store company.
Held for the second time, the Paris Retail Week fair is an event with an impressive momentum, addressed to all clients from the retail industry, from food to clothes. Parisian exhibition, which is located in two pavilions, was divided into two thematic areas: Equipmag and E-comerce. List of speakers on Paris Retail Week included representatives of companies such as FEVAD, Amazon, Alibaba, Facebook, Google, Reebok Monde, Priceline Group, Zalando, Meetic, Picwic, IKEA, Kiabi, Kaporal and Fnac.
– Paris Retail Week is an event that shows how the trade in the future will look like – notes Paul Dziarek, New Business Director of Ergo Store. A lot of discussions panels and workshops at the Paris fair were dedicated to issues related to the sale of modern technological solutions – from cash registers, commodity coding systems to specialized issues like usage of digital image projectors in advertising or game of sound and lights. – There were also discussed benefits that can bring robots using commands helping the customer in doing shopping – explains Dziarek. – A more traditional look at retail industry could be found on the stands dedicated to issues like shopfitting or design. Nevertheless they also were also focused on new technologies – summarizes the representative of the Ergo Store.
