Ergo Store team visited one of the most important fashion trade shows in Europe – Pure London.
The event was a good opportunity for talks and meetings. Thanks to seminars, discussion panels and showcases of clothing brands, we could get to know the latest producers’ offer and retail trends. This is another, after Panorama Berlin, industry event, which we were attending this year.
Pure London is one of the most important events in the fashion industry in Europe. From 11 to 13 February 2018, over 700 clothing brands presented their collections at the Olympia London exhibition center. In total, about 10,000 people participated in the event. An important trend was “sustainable fashion”, which is based on the production of clothing from organic materials and with respect for the rights of the workers who produce them. Among the “sustainable” producers there were, among others, brands such as Armedangels, Tretorn, Nomads Clothing or The Mermaid Cave.
Pure London does not mean only fashion brands showcases and fashion shows. The event is also the opportunity to participate in seminars and discussion panels. They were devoted to such issues as future of the retail industry, visual merchandising or influencer marketing. During latest edition a new sourcing event was launched – Pure Origin. Under this slogan there were organized trade meetings of producers and retailers.
We were impressed by a rich program of Pure London as well as interactivity, allowing active participation of visitors in the events. The momentum and the importance of Pure London will surely encourage us to visit Olympia London in the future. The next edition of Pure London will be held in July 2018. See you there!
