The women’s shop in the very center of the Bavarian capital is one of our last productions for the legendary jeans manufacturer.
The shop-in-shop is located in the Kaufhof department store at Kaufingerstrasse, next to Marienplatz – the central square of Munich, around which the most important and oldest monuments of the city are centered. Kaufhof is the most popular chain of department stores in Germany, dating back to 1879. The chain currently consists of over 100 commercial facilities in Germany. The owner of the brand is the Canadian group Hudson’s Bay Company, which in September this year announced a plan to merge Kaufhof with the largest competitor – the Karstadt houses. Customers of Kaufhof department stores can expect a wide selection of brands, both premium (Bvlgari, Chanel, Maurice Lacroix, Furla and Hugo Boss), as well as popular, among which we can also find our clients – More & More and Wrangler, as well as producers such as Ecco, Jack Wolfskin, Diesel and Gerry Weber.
The scope of Ergo Store’s work during production of the new Levi’s store included retail furniture manufacturing, transport and assembly. For the manufacturing we used materials such as wood, plywood, steel and glass. The dominant color in Levi’s women’s shops is white. It is worth noting that the shops signed with the Levi’s brand must meet numerous ecological and sustainable development standards, and the materials have appropriate ecological certificates. We completed the assembly of furniture on October 15, a day later the store was opened to customers.
Our cooperation with the Levi’s brand is long-term and the store in Marienplatz was not our first production in Munich. In the autumn last year, we were already preparing a shop in this city, also in one of the Kaufhof department stores. In addition, on the map of our production for this brand we can find such European cities as Rome, Milan, Paris, Budapest, Bucharest, Glasgow and Madrid. Most of these productions are shop in shops, but there are also monobrand stores. We will inform you about future projects.
