The act of giving matters all year round

This year’s Christmas will be different from the previous ones. That is why we have decided to increase our engagement into charity instead of traditional Christmas presents to our clients. The best Christmas gift is to react, even on a small scale and make the world a slightly better place.

We have decided to support: Nursing Home “Jestem” near Kraków, St. Lazarus Hospice from Kraków and Serce dla Maluszka Foundation. For the residents of Nursing Home “Jestem” near Kraków, we have prepared 150 Christmas gifts, and for the staff – disposable gloves and masks. Aid institutions in bocheński struggled with many difficulties this year. That is why we agreed upon the idea of supporting one of charitable organizations from this region. Aside from securing their basic needs, our wish was to bring smile on the faces of the residents of Nursing Home “Jestem”. Smile is a powerful tool to keep us stay healthy.

We have not forgotten about St. Lazarus Hospice patients. We have prepared a Christmas treat for them and the staff of the hospice received disposable gloves, masks, protective aprons, as well as a laptop to help them work remotely during difficult times of pandemic when the safety norms are much stricter.

We have also supported financially Serce dla Maluszka Foundation which pays for the costs of non-refundable medical operations and treatments of sick children and finances their rehabilitation. Furthermore, we have also bought special Christmas cards made by the foundation.

Social responsibility and supporting grassroots initiatives and local communities have always been important to us and the values we cherish in Ergo Store. For years, as the sponsor of the MotoOrchestra, we have been supporting the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, whose goal will be to raise money for the purchase of the latest medical equipment to save the lives and health of children in need of various types of surgery.
