In January and February 2025, we completed another series of shop installations for the More & More brand in Germany. The project spanned eleven cities, including Mannheim, Kaiserslautern, and Baden-Baden.
All of the retail spaces we delivered were shop-in-shops, ranging in size from 22 sqm (Engelhorn department store in Mannheim) to 46 sqm (Wagener in Baden-Baden).
By choosing the shop-in-shop format, the German fashion brand More & More can expand its presence in the domestic market without the need for major infrastructure investments.
Renting retail space within an existing shop – one of the defining features of the shop-in-shop concept – is more cost-effective than maintaining an entire standalone location and involves lower operational expenses. Additionally, the format allows More & More to collaborate with other brands that target similar customer groups. Sharing retail space enhances the customer experience and increases the potential for sales.
The shop-in-shops completed during the first two months of 2025 are spread across eleven German cities – mostly smaller towns (including Günzburg, Sankt Augustin, Lohmar, Buxtehude, and Baden-Baden) and mid-sized cities like Kaiserslautern. The largest city we worked in was Mannheim, with a population of over 300,000.
The shops were prepared in department stores located in the heart of each city. Some of these locations belong to national retail chains, such as Modepark Röther (productions in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Lohmar, and Kaiserslautern). Others are local shopping centers tailored to the specific needs of the regional market.
At each location, the Ergo Store team handled both the production and installation of retail furniture. Assembly work took place from late January to the end of February 2025.
The shops were designed in line with the current More & More shop concept, characterized by steel construction elements painted in a gold-transparent hue created by a custom paint blend. The interiors stand out for their subdued color palette and modern design.
The installations in January and February 2025 marked yet another chapter in our ongoing collaboration with More & More in Germany. Similar projects were carried out in the summer and fall of 2024.
More & More is one of our long-term clients. In addition to Germany, we have created shop-in-shops for the brand in countries such as Switzerland and Belgium.
Our portfolio for More & More also includes other retail formats—showrooms (e.g. in Salzburg, Hamburg, and Helsinki), monobrand stores (e.g. in Graz and Frankfurt), and outlets (e.g. in Ochtrup).
