Ergo Store prepared Cropp store in Romania

We produced the new store for the LPP group brand in the spring of 2023 in the Iulius Mall shopping center in Iași – a city with a population of 300,000 in the historical region of Moldavia.

The prepared store area measures 305 square meters, placing it among the medium-sized stores.

When preparing a brick-and-mortar store of this size, several factors should be taken into account to make the retail point more attractive to customers:

1. Efficient use of space: Efficient space planning is crucial for medium-sized stores. Optimizing the layout to ensure products are well-visible and accessible while avoiding overwhelming space is important.
2. Focus on customer experience: Creating a unique customer experience is more challenging in smaller stores, but medium-sized stores can prioritize this aspect. Thus, organizing events, workshops, or other customer attractions is worth considering.
3. Inventory management: Avoiding excessive stockpiling of goods that may not sell quickly is essential.

Medium-sized stores should combine the advantages of both small and large stores, offering customers an appealing product selection within a pleasant and convenient atmosphere.

The shopping experience at the new Cropp store is certainly influenced by the shopping center where it is located. Iulius Mall is esteemed for its rich offering of shops and entertainment. It is the second-largest shopping center in Romania and the first outside of Bucharest. Here, you can do grocery and clothing shopping, purchase household appliances, enjoy the offerings of cafes and restaurants, or spend leisure time at the cinema. The clothing store selection includes brands like Sinsay and Mohito from the LPP group; Bershka, Zara, Pull & Bear from the Inditex group; the Turkish lingerie brand Penti; and the popular Italian brand Terranova.

Ergo Store’s scope of work at the Iulius Mall shopping center included retail furniture manufacturing for the Cropp store, transportation, and assembly, which concluded on April 29, 2023. The store was opened on May 15.

Ergo Store’s projects for clothing brands

For the LPP group, we worked in Romania for the first time in 2020, preparing the Cropp store in Ploiești during the challenging period of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Among our other projects in the country, notable ones include the Levi’s store in Bucharest (2018) and the CCC store in Sibiu (2018).

The list of clothing brands we have been working with so far includes brands such as Dockers, Wrangler/Lee, Etam, Palmers, and More & More. 

For many years, we have also collaborated with the Tri-City-based LPP company, preparing stores for all brands in their portfolio (Sinsay, Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito) in countries including Hungary, Germany, Finland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, and Poland.
