A new outlet in the German city of Ochtrup has been added to Ergo Store’s list of projects for the More & More brand.
An outlet is a retail format defined by its unique mix of product offerings, location, and sales strategy. Outlets typically offer products from well-known brands at reduced prices. These stores often carry items from previous seasons, surplus inventory, end-of-line collections, or products with minor defects. Prices are usually 30–70% lower than regular, which serves as the primary purchasing incentive for customers. Compared to other retail formats, outlets often feature simpler interior designs, which helps minimize operational costs.
Many outlets operate as part of larger complexes, where customers can find a variety of brand offerings in one location. One such example is the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in the small German town of Ochtrup, located in North Rhine-Westphalia near the borders of Lower Saxony and the Netherlands. This outlet center offers numerous advantages, including a large parking area and a diverse selection of over 70 brands such as Levi’s, GANT, Guess, Puma, Adidas, Nike, and Tommy Hilfiger. In the second half of November, More & More joined this lineup, with a store outfitted entirely with furniture and fittings produced by Ergo Store. The furniture, tailored to the latest More & More store concept, features distinctive elements such as steel components painted with a gold-transparent color blend. The 200 m² More & More store was completed on November 16, 2024.
The German fashion brand More & More is a long-standing client of Ergo Store. The shop-in-shop format is the most common type of shop we produce for them. In 2024 alone, we produced several such shops across Germany, achieving a similar output in 2023. We also create shop-in-shop formats for More & More in countries like Switzerland, Belgium, and Austria.
In addition to shop-in-shops, our portfolio for More & More includes other retail formats such as showrooms (e.g., in Salzburg, Hamburg, and Helsinki), monobrand stores (e.g., in Graz and Frankfurt), and trade fair stands.
