Shop in Lille – another Ergo Store production for the Dockers brand

Our project is a shop-in-shop located in the famous Printemps department store chain.

Shop-in-shop production – what to pay attention to?

Shop-in-shop is a retail solution in which products of a particular brand are sold in another retailer’s store with a similar profile.

The specifics of such a store format require attention to several elements during its production:

  1. Choice of the “host” brand whose space we will be renting. It should be a place that generates significant customer traffic and is easily accessible. The host brand should align well with the brand of the retailer operating the shop-in-shop.
  2. Design and decor: A shop-in-shop format should stand out visually while harmonizing with its surroundings. Well-designed interiors, product displays, and attractive showcases can attract customer attention.
  3. Product assortment: It is important for the product selection in a shop-in-shop to be appropriately tailored to the customer profile of the host store, complementing its offerings. Products should be attractive, high-quality, and meet the needs of the target group.
  4. Agreement and collaboration with the “host”: It is important to clearly define the terms of cooperation with the host store, including fees, marketing and promotional obligations, and responsibility for store management.

For the Dockers brand, we often have the opportunity to prepare shops in this format, and one of our recent productions is a shop-in-shop in the Printemps department store in Lille. This French department store chain, which focuses on beauty, lifestyle, fashion, accessories, and men’s clothing, had 20 locations throughout France in 2023, including the flagship department store on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris. The new shop in Lille covers an area of 60 square metres and offers the brand’s men’s collection. Our team was responsible for retail furniture production and transportation, and the shop opened on October 20, 2023.

Ergo Store’s collaboration with the Dockers brand

This was yet another shop we had the opportunity to prepare for the Dockers brand in France. In recent months, we have produced, among others, two shops in Lyon, two in Marseille, and a monobrand store in Lille. We also prepared new furniture that complemented the equipment of stores in Paris and Lyon.

Over the years, we have also worked for the Levi Strauss Group brand in Spain and the Scandinavian countries.
