Sinsay store production in Zákamenné – a new Ergo Store project in Slovakia

On June 25, 2026, the new OC Spektrum shopping center opened in Zákamenné, Slovakia. Sinsay became one of the key retailers, launching a store with a total area of 624 sq m. The Ergo Store team was responsible for the store fit-out, including the manufacturing and installation of retail furniture and interior fixtures.

The OC Spektrum retail park in Zákamenné was built on the site of a former sawmill, fitting into the broader trend of redeveloping brownfield land for modern retail and service use.

The shopping center concept of the Slovak chain OC Spektrum focuses on developing convenience-type facilities tailored to the needs of local communities, enabling quick and comfortable everyday shopping in one place. The complex in Zákamenné brings together a diverse retail and service offering. In addition to the Sinsay store and a Tesco supermarket, it features a butcher shop, a pharmacy, a 1stDAY store offering beverages, alcohol, and confectionery, a cafe with a children’s play area, a car wash, and an EV charging station.

Scope of Ergo Store works and interior characteristics

The Sinsay store in Zákamenné spans 624 sq m. The interior design aligns with the brand’s S18 visual concept, which is currently being gradually superseded by the S25 concept. The latter introduces minor refreshments rather than radical changes. Key brand identifiers remain unchanged, including the light, muted color palette and a clear layout of the shopping zones.

As part of this project, Ergo Store was responsible for manufacturing the store furniture and fixtures. We provided a standard furniture set for the Sinsay store, which included wall units, freestanding displays, the cash desk area with back-counter paneling, fitting rooms, and back-of-house equipment.

The installation of all manufactured components was completed on May 7, 2026. The official store opening took place on June 25, 2026, coinciding with the launch of the entire OC Spektrum facility.
