In recent years, the appearance and equipment of commercial spaces have undergone significant changes, reflecting current trends. Let’s explore these changes through the example of the clothing brand Sinsay, which is part of our regular client, the LPP Group.
There is a growing emphasis on the flexibility and multifunctionality of furniture. Sustainable design, which includes the use of eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient technologies, is becoming increasingly popular as a response to growing environmental awareness. Another important trend is the integration of new technologies, such as smart space management systems, which allow for better organization of store staff work and also enhance customer comfort.
Sinsay’s owner, the Tri-City-based company LPP, is our long-standing client, for whom we have completed projects in countries such as the United Kingdom, Hungary, Germany, Romania, Finland, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.
Of its five brands, the LPP Group is opening the most new stores under the Sinsay brand, which is reflected in the projects we have undertaken. Ergo Store has produced Sinsay outlets across almost all of Europe, and since 2022, we have been working particularly intensively for this brand in the Balkans, preparing new stores in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia.
Sinsay is the youngest brand in LPP’s portfolio. It debuted in 2013 and is now present in 21 markets with a network of over 900 brick-and-mortar stores and an online shop. Initially, its offerings were primarily targeted at teenage girls, which was reflected in the store concept. The stores were smaller than today, typically ranging from 300 to 500 square meters, and attracted young customers with vibrant interior colors and clothing collections. It is worth noting that Ergo Store has been producing Sinsay stores since the brand’s launch — back in 2013, we furnished 16 Sinsay stores with retail furniture, including the store in Galeria Bronowice.
The rapid development of the Sinsay brand led to a shift in its target group and store concept after a few years. Ergo Store implemented this new concept for the first time in 2018, preparing the Sinsay store in Janki near Warsaw. The stores increased in size, reaching around 1,500 to 1,600 square meters, and the collections were aimed at entire families. These spacious stores now feature products for women, men, and children. The extensive product range is balanced not only by the spacious interior but also by neutral colors—white became the dominant color, with steel as the primary material, complemented by accents made of beech wood and plywood.
Heavy and often difficult-to-install furniture has been replaced with lightweight, modular constructions. Currently, Sinsay’s furniture is standardized and optimized. Shopping is more comfortable thanks to modern, interactive solutions and spacious fitting rooms.
Sinsay is keeping up with the times, adapting store designs to changing conditions. Ergo Store has the opportunity to actively participate in this process by preparing new brick-and-mortar stores for this brand. The year 2024 marks another year of intensive work for the youngest brand in the LPP Group.
