Window displays play a key role in shaping the relationship between a brand and its audience, influencing how customers perceive it. In an era where online shopping offers speed and convenience, brick-and-mortar stores can stand out by creating unique shopping experiences. Modern displays are a important part of this — acting as an interactive storyteller for the brand, connecting the digital and physical worlds.
Here are four trends shaping the look of retail displays in 2025 — each offering practical solutions to help you enhance your store layout and elevate your customers’ shopping experience.
“Digital signage” solutions deliver dynamic, real-time content. Screens used in stores showcase promotions, videos, or product information — unlike static posters that require frequent replacement.
According to Nielsen data, a grocery store using digital signage to present daily special offers saw a 15% increase in sales of promoted products.
Digital screens also support message personalization, displaying tailored ads based on the time of day or location, which increases customer engagement.
We live in the era of pop-up stores and constant change. Retail spaces need to adapt quickly to new collections, seasons, or promotional campaigns. The “flex retail” trend demands flexibility not only in design but also in execution.
What does this mean for production? Designing systems rather than standalone furniture. Manufacturing needs to focus on creating lightweight, mobile, and easily reconfigurable modules. The goal is for store staff to rearrange the space independently — without specialized tools — in a matter of hours, not days.
Such systems allow small shops to make the most of their available space, while large retail chains can easily test new layouts.
Sustainability is no longer just a marketing slogan — it has become a business imperative and a consumer expectation. By 2025, claiming to be “eco-friendly” is no longer enough; it must be proven through tangible design choices.
What does this mean for production? A growing preference for displays made from recyclable materials such as corrugated cardboard, reclaimed wood, or biodegradable composites. Minimalist designs where the texture of the material itself — like reclaimed plywood — becomes the key decorative feature.
Estimates show that such displays are often around 20% cheaper than those made from traditional materials, with further long-term savings thanks to energy-efficient screens. A commitment to sustainability aligns with brand values, creating a cohesive message that attracts environmentally conscious consumers.
Through interactive displays, physical stores can build deeper connections with their customers. Touchscreens or QR codes leading to online content are examples of experiences that bridge the gap between in-store and digital shopping.
A window display in 2025 is a multi-tasking creation. It must be interactive, sustainable, and flexible — all at once.
At Ergo Store, we understand these challenges. Combining over 15 years of experience in designing and producing commercial spaces, we create displays that not only showcase products but also genuinely support sales and strengthen brand image for years to come.

The summer and autumn of 2025 brought another series of shop productions for the More & More in Germany. This is a continuation of projects we have been delivering for the fashion brand on a regular basis since the beginning of 2025. Once again, Berlin was among the cities where we carried out work.

The Sinsay store in the Glogow retail park is another Ergo Store project for our long-term client, the LPP group. The store, covering an impressive 1,005 sq. m, opened on September 26, 2025. We also carried out modernisations of Sinsay stores in eight Polish cities.
