A shop-in-shop in the Belgian city of Charleroi has been added to our list of projects for the German fashion brand.
The shop-in-shop format is the most common retail format we execute for More & More, one of our long-term clients. This concept, where a brand utilizes the retail space of another retailer, allows it to reach a broader group of consumers. More & More benefits from the existing customer traffic in host stores, increasing its chances of sales. This model also helps lower costs, as partnering with other retailers eliminates the need to invest in full store infrastructure.
Belgium is one of the key markets where More & More enjoys significant recognition, as demonstrated by our projects.
Charleroi, one of Belgium’s larger cities, is located in the southern Walloon region. Known for its rich industrial history, the city also serves as a cultural and artistic hub, though it remains relatively underrated among tourists. One of Charleroi’s pride and joy is its impressive clock tower, built in 1936 and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Located in the heart of the city, the INNO Charleroi department store stands out with its monumental architecture and attracts visitors with a diverse offering of stores. These include both popular and premium brands, such as Tommy Hilfiger, Marc O’Polo, Hexagona, and Guess. INNO is a Belgian department store chain comprising 16 locations across the country.
The More & More shop at INNO Charleroi opened in mid-October 2024. Our company produced a full set of retail furniture and fittings, and transported them to the site. The 47-square-meter shop was prepared in line with the brand’s current interior concept, which emphasizes subdued colors and modern design. A standout feature of the shop is the steel furniture and finishing elements coated with black and gold paint in a transparent finish.
More & More, a brand specializing in women’s fashion, is one of our regular clients, with the shop-in-shop format being the most frequently produced for them. We primarily prepare these stores in Germany and, apart from Belgium, also in Switzerland and Austria. We have also collaborated with this German brand in Finland and Kuwait.
In addition to shop-in-shops, the formats we produce for More & More include monobrand stores (e.g., in Graz and Frankfurt), as well as stands for fashion trade fairs, such as Panorama Berlin.
