In the Königsbau Passagen shopping center, our client decided to open a monobrand store – a retail format that he uses relatively rarely.
A monobrand store is entirely dedicated to the products of a single brand. This enhances customer loyalty while giving the brand full control over elements such as store design, customer service, shopping experience, and atmosphere. Despite the clear advantages of this retail solution, every brand, before deciding to open a monobrand store, should carefully consider its strategy and assess whether it is the best solution in the context of its goals and market conditions.
Our regular client, the fashion brand More & More, more often opts for a different store format – the shop-in-shop. In 2023, we produced a total of several dozen such shops for More & More in various German cities. However, in September 2023, we had the opportunity to work on a different retail format – a monobrand store. We prepared it in the Königsbau Passagen shopping center in Stuttgart – one of the largest German cities, the cradle of the German automobile industry, and the capital of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
The Königsbau Passagen shopping center is located on Königstraße in the city center. This location is undoubtedly an asset to the place, attracting customers with a rich offering of shops and restaurants. Fashion brands present in the center include, among others, Zero, targeting women and operating in the German and Austrian markets, and Olymp, specializing in the production of shirts and sweaters.
The More & More monobrand store, covering an area of 136 square meters, joined the Königsbau Passagen offering in mid-September. Our company was responsible for the retail furniture manufacturing and transportation.
The store is based on a concept that we first implemented when preparing the flagship store for the brand in Frankfurt. It is characterized by subdued colors, with its distinctive feature being steel furniture painted in a transparent gold color.
The More & More fashion brand is our regular client, for whom we create various store formats – most frequently shop-in-shops, but also monobrand stores and showrooms. So far, we have worked for the German company in its home market, as well as in countries such as Belgium, Switzerland, Finland, and Kuwait. In addition to stores, we have also prepared booths several times for the Panorama Berlin fashion trade fair.
