The store, which was entirely prepared by our company, is located in the Greek capital of Crete – Heraklion. This location is the result of the strategy of the brand’s owner, the LPP Group, to expand in the markets of South-Western Europe.
Opened on 27 January 2023, the Sinsay shop in the capital of the Greek island of Crete is a unit of over 1,000 square metres. The two-storey store is located in the Talos Plaza shopping centre. This is the largest such centre in Crete with a floor area of 9,000 sq m, whose offer combines leisure, recreation, entertainment and shopping. Customers can buy products from brands such as Bata, Peacocks and OVS here. The attractiveness of the place is not only determined by the wide selection of goods, but also by its location near the sea coast. Heraklion’s coastal location influenced the way we transported retail furniture – we used the port there, where we transhipped to smaller vehicles. As part of the project, in addition to transport, we were responsible for retail furniture manufacturing and shop fittings, as well as the installation, which we carried out from 7-15 January 2023.
Changes in the global economy have caused the Tricity-based LPP to redirect its business activities towards South-West Europe, opening in 2023 the first Sinsay stores not only in Greece but also in Italy. “We consider the Italian market as a future-oriented […]. Greece is also such an area. We are convinced that the availability of our offer both in the e-commerce channel and in traditional sales will contribute to strengthening our position in the Balkans, which has remained one of the most important regions for us for several years now” – Przemysław Lutkiewicz, vice-president of LPP’s management board, explains. It is worth mentioning that the Tricity-based company is planning to open more Sinsay shops in Milan later this year, as well as in Greek Thessaloniki or Athens.
This was our next collaboration with the Tricity company as part of its expansion into new markets. Previously, we were responsible for preparing the first LPP stores in Finland, as well as in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over the years, while conducting projects for the Tricity company, we have also visited countries such as Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
