Printemps in Marseille and Galeries Lafayette in Toulouse are the locations of the new Dockers shops prepared by Ergo Store in France. Both retail points are shop-in-shops.
Dockers, one of the clients in our portfolio, frequently opts for the shop-in-shop format for their shops. This solution, where a brand utilizes retail space owned by another retailer, offers advantages such as reduced operational costs (no need to lease or manage an entire store) and the ability to systematically expand their network without opening full-scale stores. Additionally, presence in prestigious department stores like Printemps or Galeries Lafayette can enhance Dockers’ perception as a premium brand.
The first shop produced by Ergo Store is located in the Printemps La Valentine department store, which is part of a large shopping complex spanning 6,000 square meters on the outskirts of Marseille. This location attracts 2 million visitors annually and features over 300 brands, including Lacoste, Burberry, and Karl Lagerfeld. Customers are drawn not only by the extensive retail offerings but also by the prestige of Printemps – a brand synonymous with beauty, quality, and luxury.
The Dockers shop, produced by Ergo Store, became part of Printemps La Valentine’s portfolio in mid-September 2024. Spanning 39 square meters, it features the men’s collection of the brand from the Levi Strauss group. Our team manufactured all the furniture and fittings for the shop.
The second Dockers shop is located in a department store belonging to another prestigious French chain, Galeries Lafayette. Unlike Marseille, the Toulouse department store is situated in the city center, attracting customers with Lafayette’s 130-year history and a retail offering that includes brands such as Levi’s, Marc Jacobs, and Jacquemus.
The assembly of the Dockers shop in Toulouse was completed on November 19, 2024. Occupying 24 square meters, the shop offers the men’s collection, with Ergo Store responsible for producing all the furniture and fittings.
The shop-in-shops in Marseille and Toulouse are part of our continued collaboration with Dockers in France in 2024, as well as our ongoing projects for Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. In the spring and summer, we completed shops in Strasbourg and Rennes within these department store chains. Earlier, we worked on projects such as a monobrand store in Anglet, an outlet in Roubaix, two Dockers stores in Lyon, a store in Lille, and two monobrand stores in Marseille.
Dockers, a brand from the Levi Strauss group, is a long-term client for whom we’ve also worked in countries like Spain, Belgium, and Scandinavia.
