From the beginning of the new year, Ergo Store has their hands full! Only in February, we produced thirteen shop-in-shops for the Dockers brand. All of them offer only women’s assortment of the American brand.
Dockers – our regular client – is a brand from the portfolio of Levi Strauss group. Although it was officially founded in 1986, its origins date back to the 19th century when Levi Strauss began selling massive work boots for US shipbuilders. Years later, under its own brand, Dockers focused on utilitarian clothing – khaki pants and comfortable shirts. One year after the start of private label production, a line of products for women was also introduced. Although Dockers is associated mainly with men’s assortment, it opens more and more stores only with women’s collections.
The list of new shops for Dockers is long and the places where they are certainly known to many of us. All points are linked by several pieces of information related to their formation. The newly opened facilities are the so-called shop-in-shops (SIS) – a type of trade that allows you to sell products of a given brand in a store with products of another. Each new Dockers’ SIS offers only women collection. The scope of work of our team included retail furniture manufacturing and transport. The assembly works lasted from February 25 to March 23. Some shops were opened at the beginning of March, the opening of the last one took place on March 24.
We produced twelve new stores in Spain – two each: in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona and Alicante, one each in Malaga, Zaragoza and A Coruna, and one shop on the Spanish island – Majorca. One of the new shop-in-shops was produced in Portugal, Vila Nova de Gaia.
We have been cooperating with the Dockers brand for years, preparing, among others, shop in Paris, several shops in Barcelona, store in Stockholm, showroom in Copenhagen and many more.
